Kevin M. Kelly, a principal with CRESCO Real Estate since 2003, has been in the real estate industry for over twenty-seven (27) years. Kevin entered the commercial real estate field in 1986 as an Industrial Sales Associate. Since his start, Kevin has consistently been among the leading producers and most respected brokers in the Northeast Ohio market.
Kevin has participated in a diverse array of transactions over his long, distinguished career in which he has concluded over 600 transactions. His expertise includes selling and leasing properties to end users, as well as the sale of investment properties. His uniquely comprehensive brokerage resume includes structuring complex calls and leaseback transactions aimed to help firms increase liquidity. Kevin also guides clients through complex 1031 tax free exchange regulations to defer tax consequences aimed at strategically preserving wealth. Additionally, he negotiates with state and local governments to secure advantageous tax benefits to provide clients a competitive advantage and consults on alternative methods of creatively financing transactions in an effort to liquidate real estate assets in this difficult lending environment. Furthermore, Kevin has an extensive background in the rehabilitation and renovation of older, as well as built-to-suit transactions when the ideal facility is nonexistent in this market.
Kevin graduated from Miami University with a B.S. in Finance.
Kevin started his career in commercial real estate right out of college as the Director of Infrastructure, coordinating the database of available properties for a national brokerage firm just entering the Cleveland market. This experience was instrumental in providing the grasp of the local market Kevin still possesses.
In 1987, Kevin joined the Ostendorf-Morris Company which later became Colliers International. He served as Vice President of the Industrial Services Group and was consistently one of the firms top producers and most dependable brokers until he left to join CRESCO in 2003.
