Automated Packaging Expands Again

Cleveland, OH – March, 2011 – Automated Packaging Systems, Inc. is expanding again. Automated Packaging recently acquired the former Playtex facility located at 600 Mondial Parkway in Streetsboro, Ohio for $5,225,762.00 or $30.15 a square foot. The 173,315 square foot facility built in 1995 is situated on 32 acres and is equipped with many manufacturing amenities including 6,000 amps of power, pipe distribution for chillers / condensers and is also rail served. The original asking price for the building was $8,145,805.00 or $47.00 per square foot. The building had been on the market for almost three (3) years. The national site search started in November 2009 with an initial list of 44 properties in 22 states followed by site visits to ten locations in five (5) states.
