Cleveland, OH – May, 2012 – CRESCO’s Rico A. Pietro, SIOR received the Honor of 2011 “Office Broker of the Year” at Wednesday night’s NAIOP Annual Awards of Excellence.

2011 continued to offer challenges for a commercial real estate broker. Rico Pietro converted obstacles to opportunities for his clients. The seventy-seven (77) transactions were highlighted by marquis projects, all included a need for “value add” to complete a transaction.

As a matter of practice, Rico routinely attends trade shows, industry forums and studies trends in his client’s sector offering best in class market/sector knowledge.

Rico prime attribute is his relentless creativity and customization of each real estate transaction. He understands his client’s needs and develops a simple philosophy, add value at each turn of a transaction and complete it with integrity.

2011 was a “breakout” year for Rico. He completed an average of 1 1/2 transactions per week. Knowing that 2011 was the year of delayed deals makes the accomplishment even more impressive.

Rico’s year was highlighted by multiple leases for engineering giant URS totaling over 100,000/SF at multiple locations, 40,000/SF build to suit with Hemingway/GEIS and EDMC, and leasing over 100,000/SF to for profit colleges in multiple transactions from Akron to Midtown Cleveland.
