Rico A. Pietro, SIOR

Rico Pietro, vice president with CRESCO Real Estate since 2006, has been in the real estate industry for over eighteen (18) years. He transitioned into this role after joining CRESCO in 2004 as a founding member of the Office Services Group. Rico provides real estate advisory solutions to his clients locally and on an international basis.
Rico specializes in creative brokerage and advisory services and market trends in the office, industrial, retail and healthcare sectors. Rico has been recognized by his real estate peers for numerous awards including: 2002 Cleveland Area Board of Realtors (CABOR) Commercial Rookie of the Year; 2003 CBRE Top Producer Award, presented to the most deserving professional with less than three years in the commercial real estate industry; 2006 and 2007 NAIOP Broker of the Year Nominee, and the 2007 Winner of NAIOP Transaction of the Year. This recognition is reserved for professionals with the most interesting transaction along with high ethical standards in commercial real estate.
In February of 2009, Rico became a member of SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors). SIOR is the leading professional association of today’s most knowledgeable, experienced and successful corporate real estate specialists.
Recent experience includes Global Real Estate Point of Contact for Dresser-Rand Company (DRC-NASDAQ), multiple transactions in US, APAC, South America and greater Europe. Major projects include headquarter relocation, adaptive re-use/re-positioning assets, REO disposition and site analytical comparisons.
Rico graduated from John Carroll University: Boler School of Business; B.S.B.A., majoring in Marketing.

Prior Experience
Rico worked as an Acquisition Agent for one of Central Ohio’s most successful residential real estate offices from 1996 to 2000 while focusing on income producing properties. From 2000-2004, Rico worked at CBRE in the Office Specialty and Investment Sales Division.
