George J. Pofok, CCIM Company Experience In May 2003, George joined CRESCO Real Estate as a Senior Sales Associate, and was promoted to Vice-President in November, 2005. Professional Accomplishments and Experience Since 1996, George has been active in the industrial real estate brokerage business. During that time George assisted clients in all aspects of real estate including property acquisitions, dispositions, valuations, leasing, lease termination, subleasing, land sales and build-to-suit transactions. Among the many companies he has done work with are Air Compliance Testing, Air Liquide America Corporation, Air Products & Chemicals, Ametek, Ames True Temper, Bechtel Telecommunications, Dairy Mart Convenience Stores, F L Distributors, Lakeview Products, Mac’s Convenience Stores, Marlin Manufacturing, Millennium Steel, Osterland, Room by Room - HGTV, Weyerhaeuser Company, Wholesale Builders Supply, Zaclon, Inc. and Zebb-Hoff Machine Tool. George has successfully handled over 120 transactions in 13 states ranging from 875 square feet to 600,000 square feet with a total value of over $117,000,000. In 2000, George was the co-recipient of the NAIOP Industrial Transaction of the Year for his involvement in a three-way sale-leaseback transaction involving the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, a Texas investment group and local company. In 2004 George was nominated for the NAIOP Industrial Transaction of the Year and was the co-recipient of the "2005 Construction Project of the Year" Award from Duke Realty Corporation for the Rolled Material & Fason division of Avery Dennison office build-to-suit in Mentor, Ohio. In May of 2007, George was the recipient of the "2006 Office Transaction of the Year" as well as co-recipient of the "2006 Office Development of the Year" as acclaimed by NAIOP.
