Cushman & Wakefield | CRESCO Receives Broker of the Year and Other Awards
Recently, the Cushman & Wakefield | CRESCO team was honored to receive a bevy of awards from NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association. NAIOP comprises more than 19,000 members, and serves as the leading organization for developers, owners and investors of office, industrial, retail and mixed-use real estate.
Broker of the Year Awards
Broker of the Year awards are granted based on the broker’s impact in the commercial real estate industry, their contributions outside of real estate, and the value they bring to their clients.
This year, the Barna Caplan Team was proud to earn the award for Industrial Broker of the Year. Additionally, Jim Krivanek received the award for Office Broker of the Year. Watch the BCT team accept their award, and similarly the kind words Krivanek shared when he accepted his award.
Transaction-Specific Awards
Our firm was also proud to receive a number of transaction-specific awards:
The first transaction award is Industrial Development Project of the Year, Bluestone Business Center 6-CPP Euclid, Ray Fogg Corporate Properties. Cushman & Wakefield | CRESCO professional Robert Wetzel represented global manufacturer Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in this lease of a 145,000 square foot advanced manufacturing facility in Euclid, Ohio, bringing over 120 new manufacturing and engineering jobs to the city.
The second transaction award is Mixed-Use Exterior Renovation of the Year, May Company Building, GEIS Companies. Currently, The May boasts 80,000 square feet of available commercial space, including a range of ground floor retail floor plans and a unique 11,000 square-foot rooftop deck outfitted for food and beverage use with iconic city views. The spaces will be brokered by Shawn Darling, an associate at Cushman & Wakefield | CRESCO Real Estate.
All NAIOP awards are based on a system of nominations and peer selection.
