How Manufacturers Can Aid the U.S. Response to COVID-19

As our Northeast Ohio community continues to adapt to new “stay at home” orders, many local manufacturers remain open and hard at work. Manufacturing is an essential industry, and plays a critical role in maintaining the regional and national supply chain.

In this time of crisis and uncertainty, many manufacturers have also expressed a deep willingness to help in any way they can—including importing and manufacturing medical products to aid the U.S. response to COVID-19.

If your company has an idea about how to support healthcare and relief workers during this global pandemic, please refer to these instructions from FEMA. They are triaging all ideas and offers from manufacturers in order to determine where help is needed and available.

  • If your company would like to import or manufacture medical supplies: Please send all inquiries to FEMA at [email protected]. Be sure to include as many details as possible (manufacturer name, address, product, and model number), as well as contact information.
  • If your company has medical supplies or equipment to donate: Please email FEMA’s National Business Emergency Operations Center at [email protected] or visit this webpage: https://www.fema.gov/covid19offers.

Manufacturers have long been the backbone of the American economy, and we have no doubt that their innovation and support will be vital during the COVID-19 crisis.
