Coronavirus & Commercial Real Estate: We Are Offering Virtual Showings

With Ohio currently under “stay at home” orders from Governor Mike DeWine, many commercial property owners, tenants, buyers, and sellers are left wondering what this means for their planned real estate transactions.

Non-essential businesses (including restaurants, bars, barbershops, nail salons, and entertainment venues) have been forced to close in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19. Office employees are now adapting to new daily work-from-home routines.

Meanwhile, grocery stores and other essential retailers  are currently scrambling to deal with a surge in demand. Thousands of temporary workers have been hired to assist with restocking shelves, making deliveries, and tending to shoppers in-store.

In simplest terms, the coronavirus outbreak is drastically changing what “business as usual” looks like for hundreds of Ohio businesses. Yet even in today’s uncertain climate, there are many good reasons an organization might need to sell, buy, or lease a new commercial property right now—especially as their daily operations continue to change.

Virtual Property Showings to Slow the Spread of COVID-19

One way that we are adapting to COVID-19 is by offering virtual showings of commercial properties. Our brokers have been able to conduct remote tours via FaceTime and Skype for years, but these tools have become invaluable in the wake of “social distancing” orders.

We have also posted videos featuring several of our currently available commercial properties on the CRESCO Youtube channel. We will continue to supplement listings with videos and photos as they become available.

These are unprecedented times, and keeping safe social distances is key to slowing the spread of the coronavirus. But even in the midst of this pandemic, we know that many businesses don’t have the luxury of putting off a major real estate transaction right now.

We understand that your financial stability may depend on moving forward with buying, selling, or leasing a commercial property. No matter your situation, we are standing by and ready to offer a virtual tour of any property you would like to see.
